Turtle On Call
Get a glimpse into the lives of some of the Maldives’ sea turtles with the help of our Marine Biologist. Don’t miss your chance to see a mother turtle lay her eggs in the sand, tiny hatchlings make their way to the ocean, or come to the aid of turtles who need assistance. Please let your Mr./Ms. Friday know so they can add your name to the Turtle On Call register.
Marine Conservation Expedition
To truly understand the fragility of coral reefs in our oceans and how you can help better protect them join our Marine Biologist on a number of tasks. Under their guidance, you will take part in a beach clean-up on an inhabited island, followed by a micro-plastic survey, coral bleaching survey, and a snorkel session.
Coral Planting
Indulge your ocean steward when you take part in our coral planting initiative at Soneva Jani. After a brief presentation you will head out to a floating platform in the lagoon where you will be able to tie coral to the planting frames before they are lowered to the sandy bottom. Every six months we will keep you updated on the progress of the coral you planted.
Dolphin Safari
Get ready to watch dozens of playful dolphins in the light of the setting sun. While you cruise deeper into the waters, you will be served a selection of canapés and flute of Champagne.
Noonu Atoll Guided Snorkelling
Take an aquatic adventure through the Noonu Atoll and discover the diversity of Maldivian marine life, guided by our resident Marine Biologist. Our atoll-native sea turtles and rays may make a special appearance as you glide through the sea.
Diving
The Soleni Dive Centre’s multi-lingual PADI instructors and small group sizes ensure you world-class diving experiences. Choose from a number of diving courses and equipment is available to rent.
Eco-Friendly Surfing
Discover less chartered surf breaks in the Baa and Noonu Atolls, all within a 5 to 35-minute speedboat ride. Surf season peaks from May to September. All our gear is eco-friendly, as the first 100% sustainable surfing programme in the world. We encourage you to leave your gear at home.
Complimentary Water Sports
We offer a range of complimentary non-motorised water sports, including kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing, kite-surfing and catamaran sailing. Private tuition is available at an additional charge on an hourly basis.
Cinema Paradiso
Watch classic and contemporary favourites beneath the stars or take your Cinema Paradiso experience to new heights and book a private viewing, while our chefs craft you a menu of comfort food and nibbles. Refreshing cocktails, complimentary popcorn and ice creams can also be arranged.

Observatory
Visit the first overwater Observatory in the Maldives, where you can see constellations in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Let our resident Astronomers guide you through the magic of space and share their knowledge of how ancient cultures used the night sky to navigate, harvest, hunt and teach.
